Adults Take Part in World Girls Hockey Weekend

Allen Community Ice Rink in Allen, TX takes part in World Girls Ice Hockey Weekend on Sunday October 13, 2013 by providing adult female players the opportunity to try hockey for free through the Adult First Goal Program.  The Adult First Goal Program is designed as a resource for registered adult leauges to provide free euqipment in an effort to get new adults to try hockey.  Check out photos.

Anaheim Ice Adult Hockey League

The Anaheim Ice Adult Hockey League has used the Adult First Goal Program gear as a resource to help brand new adults try hockey for free.  The program included 60 players with a waiting list of over 90 adults.  The program ran two, three week free ice sessions.  The 60 new players were converted into four new teams and are now playing in our Rookie Adult League.   Click here for the video.

The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Women's Try Hockey Clinic

The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Women's Try Hockey Clinic took place in conjunction with the Women's Frozen Four and used the Adult First Goal gear to help make the clinic a great success for all adult players involved.  The clinic offered adult female players that have never had the opportunity to try the game an opportunity to get on the ice and recieve quality instruction, have fun all while trying out the sport that we all love.  There were twenty-two female adult players on the ice for one hour of instruction.

Nashville Predators Adult Get Out And Learn (G.O.A.L.)

The Nashville Predators and USA Hockey's Adult Program used the Adult First Goal equipment program as a resource to introduce new adult players to the game of hockey for free. The program included 43 adults, one hour of on ice instruction, raffle prizes and a transition program to the A Game Adult Hockey League's beginner division in Franklin, TN (minutes from downtown Nashville).  The most unique experience for the players was that this program took place at Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators.  Click here for the Video  Check out Photos here

Florida Panthers Adult Learn to Play

The Florida Panthers Adult Hockey League and USA Hockey's Adult Program have used the Adult First Goal equipment program as a resource to introduce brand new adults to the game for free.  The program included 24 adults and a reception after the on ice session.  Many of these players have entered the Florida Panthers Adult Hockey League's developmental division.
