ADULT FIRST GOAL

WHAT IS THE ADULT FIRST GOAL PROGRAM?

VISION
The Adult First Goal Program was established to provide the adult hockey fan or parent the opportunity to experience the thrill of playing the game that they so passionately follow. First Goal is a grant-based FREE* program that provides USA Hockey registered adult hockey leagues a national platform of resources to introduce new adults to the sport. Being a good partner in the business is about joint efforts between USA Hockey and registered adult leagues to grow the game.

MISSION
The ultimate goal is to have associations, leagues and NHL teams host Adult First Goal try hockey programs for individuals over the age 18. The Adult First Goal Program provides the perfect opportunity to introduce adults, both men and women, to the fabulous sport of hockey with the goal to have them join a local adult league and continue to enjoy the thrill of playing hockey.
